Accounting Working Student

Join our Finance team as a Working Student in Accounting. You will support accounts payable and the monthly closing process, working closely with our Senior GL Accountant and AP Accountant. • Verarbeiten und Registrieren von eingehenden Lieferantenrechnungen in unserem Buchhaltungssystem sowie Nachverfolgen fehlender Genehmigungen.
• Bearbeiten von Mitarbeiteraufwendungen, die über unser Ausgaben-Tool eingereicht werden, und Überprüfen dieser gemäß unserer Reise- und Ausgabenrichtlinie.
• Unterstützen des monatlichen Abschlusses durch Abstimmungen der Hauptbuchkonten und Vorbereitung wiederkehrender Buchungen.

• You are confident in Excel
• You have a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping from coursework or practical experience
• You work accurately, in a structured way and reliably, also on recurring tasks
• Experience with an ERP system is a plus
• First hands-on experience, such as an internship, a previous working student role or a commercial apprenticeship, is a plus but not a must
• You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field, and can work up to 20 hours per week during the semester
• You learn quickly and enjoy finding ways to make processes simpler or more automated
• You speak fluent English. German skills are a plus
