Customer Desk Officer (Mid Office)

Customer Desk Officer

What are you going to do?

• Act as main point of contact for existing customers and brokers, answer all questions and/or complaints.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing communication channels, gather information, and communicate this to the back-office for review.
• Manage all customer portals and apps, responsible for customer onboarding and support services.
• Responsible for accepting requests, starting mutation process and/or claims process in the workflow management systems and referring to the back-office for further processing.
• Assist in the preparation of quotations and process simple changes, including tax letters, guarantee letters, change of no-claim, etc.
• Manage the digital customer file.
• Assist in the preparation of quotations, keep all parties involved informed and ensure the administrative settlement within the correct delivery times.

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum associate degree in Banking & Insurance or equivalent education
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a service desk/customer support function
• Basic knowledge of insurance products, services, and sales channels
• General knowledge of individual insurance products related to Life and Pension
• High level of efficiency and accuracy
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Basic proficiency in MS Office is preferred
• A team player who is highly motivated and target driven
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento
• Excellent customer service attitude
