BNPL Merchant Acquisition Specialist SG

Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Achieve and exceed monthly BNPL loan sales targets

• Conduct outdoor sales and telesales activities to acquire new merchants base

• Actively promote BNPL solutions to merchants and explain product features and benefits

Merchant & Client Management

• Build and maintain relationships with BNPL partners and referral sources

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned merchants

• Gather feedback from partners to improve product positioning and client's experience

Merchant Engagement & Advisory

• Understand merchant financing needs and recommend suitable BNPL solutions

• Provide clear explanations on repayment structure, tenure, and eligibility

Scaling Strategy

• Systematically expand existing merchant accounts by increasing outlet coverage, improving frontline awareness, and integrating BNPL more prominently at point-of-sale and digital touchpoints

Sustainable Growth

• Build long-term partnerships with merchants by aligning commercial terms, providing regular performance insights, and co-developing campaigns to drive repeat usage

Market Awareness & Continuous Improvement

• Keep up to date with BNPL market trends and competitor offerings

• Provide insights and feedback to improve sales strategy and product competitiveness

Operational & Pipeline Management

• Maintain disciplined tracking of sales pipeline and partner performance

Regulatory Compliance

• Keeping abreast of Regulator’s guidelines and changes

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Minimally, GCE O Level

Relevant Work Experience

• Prior experience in promoting unsecured loans in a financial institution is an advantage
