Bodyshop Estimator

Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body and paint repairs required.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labour, spare parts, materials, and painting costs.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for approvals, quotations, and repair claims.
• Liaise with customers, service advisors, technicians, and parts teams to ensure smooth repair processing.

• Monitor repair estimates, follow up on approvals, and ensure accuracy in job cards and repair documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or technical qualification in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive bodyshop estimation, preferably in a dealership.
• Knowledge of insurance claims and vehicle repair procedures.
• Experience with bodyshop estimating software and DMS is an advantage.Vehicle damage assessment and repair estimation.
• Knowledge of automotive bodywork and paint repairs.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and cost estimation accuracy.
• Computer skills and familiarity with estimating systems.
