Steward

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Kitchen Steward to support daily operations at the Heartists Cafeteria, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen and service areas. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, floors, and workstations. Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, and cutlery. Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards. Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain clean waste storage areas. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas. Support the culinary team by ensuring clean equipment and utensils are available during service. Report maintenance issues and hygiene concerns to the supervisor.

Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher in a hotel, restaurant, or cafeteria is an advantage. Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely. Physically fit, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
