Finance Intern (Summer 2027, 12 Week Internship)

Join Gusto's Finance, BizOps & Strategy (FBOS) team as a Finance Intern for a 12-week summer internship. You'll work on real projects that shape the business, support leaders in various departments, and gain hands-on experience in finance as a true partner to the business. You'll build financial reports, analyze costs, and collaborate with teams across Gusto.

• Support leaders in Customer Experience, EPD, and Corporate Development by building financial reports, analyzing costs, and partnering on projects.
• Work cross-functionally on high-impact projects that utilize data, automation, and AI-powered tools to drive business decisions.
• Build and maintain recurring financial/operational reporting for your partner organization, and analyze cost or margin drivers.

• Comfortable working in Excel/Google Sheets; curious about how AI tools can speed up analysis work
• Demonstrates genuine interest in financial trends, technology innovation, and applying classroom knowledge to real business challenges
• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Rising junior or senior (entering your 3rd or 4th year after this internship)
• When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required. This includes non-office days for hybrid employees
