Automotive Technical Support Engineer – German Speaking

Join MSX International, a leading global automotive support company, as an Automotive Technical Support Engineer. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to German-speaking dealer workshops, analyze fault codes and symptoms, guide technicians to the right repair, and document every case accurately. You will also have the opportunity to build your expertise in electric and high-voltage vehicles through manufacturer training. • Handle technical cases from German-speaking dealer workshops through a ticketing system, analyzing fault codes and symptoms to find the root cause.
• Guide technicians to the right repair, documenting every case accurately and escalating complex cases to the Level 2 team.
• Spot recurring issues and share them with the engineering team, building expertise on electric and high-voltage vehicles through manufacturer training.

**What you bring**

• Hands-on experience in a dealer or independent workshop, with a focus on diagnostics
• A technical qualification (e.g. Kfz-Mechatroniker, Kfz-Techniker, Kfz-Meister, automotive technician) or an engineering degree
• Confident use of diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams and repair information systems
• Fluent German and good professional English
• An analytical, independent way of working, and the patience to handle a high volume of cases
• The right to work in the EU

**Nice to have**

• High-voltage / EV qualification (e.g. DGUV 209-093 level 2S/3S or equivalent)
• Experience with a technical hotline, warranty or ticketing tools

• HUF 800,000–850,000 gross per month
• Hybrid work from Budapest, with flexible home office (living elsewhere in Hungary? Talk to us!)
• Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, no weekends
