Senior React Native Engineer (App Owner)

Join our team as a Senior React Native Engineer, where you will own the app's architecture, code quality, performance, and stability on both iOS and Android. You will build and maintain native modules, handle API contracts with backend engineers, integrate third-party SDKs, and maintain automated test coverage. This is a remote position with opportunities for growth and contribution.

• Own the app's architecture, code quality, performance, and stability on iOS and Android.
• Build and maintain native modules in Swift or Kotlin where React Native is not enough.
• Integrate and maintain third-party SDKs for payments, maps, analytics, and messaging.

• Automated testing with Jest and Detox or Maestro, run in CI such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• 5+ years of React Native in production, shipped to both the App Store and Google Play
• REST API integration with deliberate handling of async, offline and error states
• Solid native knowledge: Swift or Objective-C with Xcode, Kotlin or Java with Android, Studio and Gradle
• Fluent in English, and eligible to work in Germany
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript, and experience with modern state management
• Store releases with fastlane: signing, pre-release test tracks and staged rollouts

• Map-heavy apps: location permissions, push notifications and deep linking
• Daily use of AI coding agents, reviewing their output like any pull request
• Comfortable reading backend code in a typed language and SQL
• A valid driving licence (EU category B or equivalent). Testing the product includes trip on the road
• Payment SDK integration in a consumer app
• Experience in mobility, logistics or another operations-heavy consumer product
