Backend Engineer

• Participate in the full feature lifecycle, from grooming and design through rollout and GA, for AI products.
• Lead AI initiatives within the team and collaborate across development teams to scale adoption of AI technologies.
• Utilize strong critical thinking and good judgment to work with AI tools, re-checking, challenging, and improving AI-generated solutions.

You’ll join a team fully onboarded to build and ship AI products with strong judgment and guardrails.
We own the full feature lifecycle, from grooming and design through rollout and GA.

• 5 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• A collaborative, proactive team player. We expect a strong desire to impact our team, our product, and our customers.

• Ability to lead AI initiatives within the team and collaborate across development teams to scale adoption.
• Strong critical thinking and good judgment: comfortable working with AI tools, but always re-checking, challenging, and improving AI-generated solutions.
• Experience with AI and vibe engineering, including usage as well as creation of context concepts such as skills, agents, rules, etc.
• Independent, fast and continuous learner, and eager to learn new concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable architecture.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
