Deputy CTO

**Location:** Amman, Jordan.
**Years of Experience:** 8-10 years.
**Working Arrangement:** on-site.
**Language Requirements:**Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).

We are seeking an experienced **Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Deputy CTO)** with a strong background in **backend development** to support the organization's technology leadership and software development activities. The role will focus on overseeing backend engineering initiatives, supporting technical decision-making, and contributing to the development and improvement of technology solutions.

Key Requirements

• **8–10 years of professional experience** in software development and related technology roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in **backend development**.

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field**.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the CTO in overseeing the organization's technology development activities.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for **backend development initiatives**.
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and applications.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and the development of scalable technology solutions.
• Review technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support the implementation of technology strategies and engineering priorities.
• Contribute to improving backend development practices, system performance, and overall technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with the CTO and relevant stakeholders on technology-related initiatives.
