Repair and Maintenance Manager (RMT Manager)

We at Zypp Electric are currently hiring an experienced Service Manager to lead our electric 2W service operations. You’ll own service delivery, team development, and repair and maintenance strategy to ensure high vehicle uptime, fast turnarounds and exceptional customer experience.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Lead, coach and scale a high-performing service team; set technician KPIs and training plans.
• Oversee diagnostics, major repairs and preventive maintenance; enforce manufacturer standards.
• Define and track SLAs (TAT, first-time fix rate, uptime) and produce weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Manage vendor & spare-parts relationships; optimize parts inventory and procurement processes.
• Drive process improvements, root-cause analysis and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Operations on reliability and rollouts.

• 🔍 What You’ll Lead
• Oversee day-to-day workshop, repair & maintenance operations
• Manage & mentor technicians and workshop teams
• Ensure preventive maintenance & SOP adherence
• Coordinate spare parts inventory & vendor alignment
• Maintain reports, schedules & maintenance logs (Excel proficiency required)
• Drive high fleet uptime, efficiency & cost optimization
• Collaborate with Ops, Fleet & Supply Chain to solve on-ground challenges
• 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

• 3–7+ years in vehicle service management/workshop operations (commercial / EV preferred).
• Strong knowledge of EV systems, diagnostic tools and service workflows.
• Proven people-management and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven: experience with service metrics, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Diploma/Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience as Workshop Manager/Service Manager (Auto/EV industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of EV/automobile maintenance
• Excellent team-handling & operational skills
• Tech-savvy with good Excel knowledge
• Ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced environments
