Assistant Controller

Join our team as an Assistant Controller, where you will play a crucial role in developing and managing the company's accounting function. You will be responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, implementing internal controls, coordinating tax filings, and building a robust in-house accounting and financial reporting infrastructure. This is an individual contributor role that requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and expertise in analyzing financial data.

• Develop and manage the company's accounting function, including overseeing bookkeeping, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Implement internal controls and policies, coordinate with outside agencies on tax filings, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting systems and enhance the month-end close process, ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Has 5+ years of experience in Accounting, CPA certification required
• Experience with accounting and expense management software, such as QBO, Netsuite, , Expensify, or equivalent systems
• Has 2+ years of experience in a position equivalent to managing and overseeing E2E Accounting month end activities and owning complete financial reporting
• Exceptional work ethic, strong individual contributor; experience in financial services/fintech is a plus
