Head of Accounting

Join our team as the Head of Accounting and shape the future of our global accounting function. You will partner with the CFO to build scalable processes, elevate financial excellence, and develop a high-performing team. You will also lead multi-entity accounting, group consolidation, tax, compliance, and audit readiness. • Ensure complete financial visibility across the global business by leading multi-entity accounting, delivering accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining best-in-class accounting standards.
• Accounting Leadership: You bring 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years leading and developing accounting teams
• Strategic Finance Leadership: You can define a long-term accounting vision and translate it into an executable roadmap with measurable outcomes
• People Leadership: You build strong teams through coaching, accountability, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to developing others

• Automation & Transformation: You have a proven track record of modernizing accounting functions through process optimization, automation, and technology adoption
• Tax Knowledge: You bring hands-on experience with German tax requirements and have worked with tax structures and compliance obligations across the US and/or Canada
• Multi-Entity Expertise: You have extensive experience managing accounting operations across multiple legal entities, including group consolidation and intercompany accounting
• Audit & Compliance Excellence: You have successfully led annual statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions and maintain a strong understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements
• Stakeholder Management: You can confidently partner with senior leadership, auditors, tax advisors, and cross-functional stakeholders across international markets
• AI & Automation Capability: You understand how emerging technologies can transform accounting workflows and have practical experience implementing automation solutions
• Bias to Action: You proactively identify problems, propose solutions, and drive execution without waiting for direction
