AI Solution Engineer

Skills and Experience required :

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience delivering production services and/or automation in operational environments.
• Strong experience with observability and operational data (logs, metrics, traces, alerts) and using evidence to drive engineering prioritisation and improvement.
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Python preferred) and experience building integrations (APIs, webhooks, event-driven patterns).
• Strong DevSecOps and continuous delivery mindset; able to deliver small, safe changes frequently with high quality.
• Experience building production-ready tooling with robust monitoring, audit trails, and supportability.
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and deliver across organisational boundaries (multiple teams, competing priorities, dependency management).
• Agile delivery experience; strong documentation and collaboration habits.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience implementing AI/GenAI solutions for operations (RAG over KB/runbooks, incident summarisation, change-risk assistants, evaluation/quality frameworks).
• Familiarity with Responsible AI expectations and operating model considerations (human-in-the-loop, auditability, incident handling for AI).
• Experience producing engineering standards, reference implementations, and automation “golden paths” for broader reuse.
