Assistant Camp Director

DescriptionAssistant camp directors ensure camp sessions run smoothly by supporting staff, campers, and activities. They work closely with the director team to facilitate training, run day-to-day activities, respond to camper and staff needs, schedule activities, and coach staff. Assistant camp directors set the tone and culture of camp by modeling what it means to live Christian Science, serving joyfully, communicating clearly, and responding thoughtfully to needs.

Qualifications

Live a demonstrated commitment to Christian Science
At least 21 years old at time of employment, college graduate preferred
Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards
Leadership experience in a role working closely with others
Enthusiasm for working with young people with love, patience, and consistency
Ability to flexibly support in a variety of areas as needs arise
Ability to participate in outdoor adventure and recreational activities
Ability and willingness to live in a cabin with other staff when needed
