Emulsion Spray & Water Truck Operator

Join BA Blacktop Ltd., a leading company in the paving and road construction industry. We are currently seeking a seasonal Emulsion Spray Truck Operator to support our Fraser Valley operations. The successful candidate will operate an asphalt distributor or water truck, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment, a valid Class 3 Driver's Licence, and a strong understanding of safe operating practices and equipment maintenance.

• Safely operate and drive a Spray/Distributor Truck or Water Truck as directed by the Foreman.
• Apply asphalt emulsion and tack coat at specified rates to ensure paving quality requirements are met.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required documentation and logbooks.

**Qualifications**

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Water Truck, Distributor Truck, or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience in road construction, paving, or asphalt operations is considered an asset.
• Valid Class 3 Driver's Licence with air endorsement and a clean driver's abstract.
• Class 1 Driver's Licence is considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of safe operating practices and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours during the construction season.
