Creative Product development manager

Description

Bakery Bling is looking for a highly creative, trendsavvy Creative Product Development Manager to help bring fun, seasonal, giftable, and retail ready products to life. If you love dreaming up new consumer products especially in the world of sweets, gifting, kids, and seasonal retail this role is for you.

You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team to develop new product concepts, cookie kits, packaging ideas, seasonal programs, and future product extensions. This is a hands on, fast paced role where creativity meets execution.

What You’ll Do

• Develop fresh, seasonal product concepts that align with brand direction
• Create and support development of cookie kits, gifting items, packaging, and novelty products
• Research trends across food, gifting, toys, kids, seasonal, and retail categories
• Build mood boards, inspiration decks, and concept presentations
• Assist with dielines, packaging layouts, and graphic direction
• Partner with vendors, printers, and factories to bring concepts to life
• Review samples and provide clear, actionable feedback
• Manage product development timelines and ensure ontime delivery
• Track details across multiple SKUs, seasons, and product lines
• Support creation of retail presentations, sell sheets, and pitch materials
• Contribute new ideas for future product lines and brand extensions

Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

• Experience with packaging design and understanding of dyelines
• Strong creative taste and an eye for trends
• Background in product development or creative project management
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage many details at once
• Strong communication skills, especially when working with vendors and suppliers
• Experience in seasonal, consumer goods, gifting, toys, kids’ products, or similar categories is a plus
