Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor (Goodwill Career Education)

Description

The Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. The instructor will prepare students for successful completion of the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam and entry-level employment in the healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach phlebotomy courses in accordance with curriculum standards and program objectives
• Provide hands-on instruction in venipuncture, capillary collection, infection control, safety, and patient care procedures
• Monitor student progress, attendance, and competency development
• Maintain accurate records and submit grades and reports in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all safety, accreditation, and institutional policies
• Support students in preparation for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential required; NHA certification preferred
• Minimum of two years of recent phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
• Minimum of two years teaching, training, or on-the-job training experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse student populations in both classroom and lab environments
