JOB SUMMARY

Provide high level of food and beverage service to club members and guests

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setup side station and perform assigned side work
• Provide high level of cordial and efficient service to all members/guests upon arrival. Keep conversation light and professional
• Develop complete knowledge of club menus, beverage lists, and POS system
• Greet members (by name) and distribute menus
• Take orders and enter into the POS system
• Communicate with kitchen, runners, and Dining Room Manager
• Inform kitchen about any special requests or allergies
• Serve and clear food and beverage according to NCC service manual
• Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction
• Replenish water, butter, rolls, condiments as necessary
• Clear tables onto bus tray and remove from dining area
• Suggest and serve after dinner drinks, coffee, and dessert
• Remain visible and available in the Dining Room
• Keep tables in all rooms and Service Station clean and neat
• Reset tables according to club standards
• Advise supervisors of any complaints as they occur
• Present check to member and thank them
• Attend pre/post meal meetings as required
• Perform closing side work duties
• Answer phone in service area in a polite and professional manner
• Assist with set up of club events in the Grille Room
• Any additional tasks seen fit by Management

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• RAMP Certified or ability to pass RAMP Certification test
• Able to lift up to 50lbs. and travel stairs easily
