Description
Essential Functions

- Retrieve products from designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Accurately read pick tickets, receiving documents, or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials.
- Accurately identifying items based on receiving specifications and ensuring the correct quantity is selected.
- Pick all materials into appropriate carts based on specific manufacturing location or receiving requirements.
- Ensure materials are packed effectively to avoid damage during the put-away or pick process.
- Coordinate the receiving process by preparing receiving labels, verifying addresses, product descriptions, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and entered systematically.
- Collaborate with vendor carriers to facilitate the timely arrival of materials.
- Conduct visual inspections of products during the picking and receiving stages to identify any defects or discrepancies.
- Utilize inventory management systems to update stock levels and communicate any shortages or overages, as needed.
- Work effectively as a team to achieve daily receiving/picking goals.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Possess a strong work ethic and self-motivated attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions.
