Job Description: Guide patients on their journey to mental wellness

Role and Responsibilities

  • Conducts MOUD education.
  • Performs psychiatric evaluations.
  • Provides MOUD treatment including Vivitrol and Buprenorphine
  • Provides ongoing psychiatric medication for those needing it along with their MOUD treatment
  • Provides emergency and consultation services.
  • Provides consultation services to community as requested
  • Attends treatment planning conferences within the agency
  • Consults with other staff and maintains updated medical records.
  • Work closely under the supervising Doctor following all recommendations

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in nursing and current Kentucky Board of Nursing APRN Licensure. Or a Licensed Physician’s Assistant by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure
  • DEA License
  • Preferred three to five years’ experience working in MOUD population

Physical Requirements

  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise objects, including the human body.

Special Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Dependable transportation.
  • Willing to travel throughout the region to conduct clinics
