Demonstrates ability to perform all required exams for diagnostic radiology, Special Procedures and Cardiovascular radiology angiography. The Radiology Tech III will perform all general, invasive, and imaging processes and procedures involved with Special procedure and cardiovascular angiogram. As member of the Cardiac Catherization Lab the radiology tech III is responsible for accurate and complete interpretation of hemodynamic waveforms and other cardiac measurements and parameters.

Qualifications

• BS Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology/radiologic technology Required
• Two years experience in invasive cardiovascular radiology and/or cardiac catherization laboratory, including proven competency in rhythm analysis. Required
• Additional training in angiographic/interventional procedures and cardiopulmonary technology.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered, if licensed after 1974 Required
• BLS - American Heart Association Required
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure Required
