Southbase is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team delivering the façade push-out and plaza works at Auckland Airport.
This is your opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project in a live, 24/7 airport environment, coordinating complex construction activities while keeping the airport running smoothly.
What you’ll do:

• Coordinate structural, façade and civil interfaces with the live terminal and forecourt.
• Drive engineering coordination, design resolution and construction sequencing.
• Manage subcontractor coordination, procurement and technical documentation.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
• Support and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with the wider project team.

What you’ll bring:

• A relevant engineering or construction qualification.
• At least five years’ commercial construction engineering experience.
• Strong technical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Structural construction experience and familiarity with Aconex, MS Project or Primavera are advantageous.
