Drywall Install Apprentice

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented <strong>Drywall Install Apprentice</strong> to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll learn drywall installation, finishing, stucco patching, and painting while developing the skills needed to advance into a skilled installer role.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></h2>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Drywall Installation Support: Assist with measuring, cutting, lifting, and installing drywall panels on walls and ceilings while learning proper installation techniques.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Surface Preparation: Assist with preparing surfaces to ensure they are clean, level, secure, and ready for drywall application.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Finish Work: Assist with applying joint compound, tape, mud, and sanding seams and joints to achieve smooth, professional finishes.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Quality Workmanship: Follow established installation procedures and quality standards while developing an eye for detail and craftsmanship.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Material & Tool Management: Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials needed for each job.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Site Management & Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site; assist with debris removal and proper disposal.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Team Support: Work closely with Lead Installers and other team members to complete projects efficiently and provide support throughout the installation process.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and tools.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Documentation & Communication: Assist with service documentation and communicate job-related information to Lead Installers, Install Coordinators, and management.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Training & Development: Participate in hands-on training and coaching to build technical skills and progress toward an independent installer role.</span></li>

<h2><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></span></h2>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Previous construction, drywall, remodeling, painting, or related experience is preferred but not required.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Willingness to learn drywall installation, finishing, stucco patching, and painting techniques.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to safely use or learn to use hand and power tools.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to work effectively as part of a team.</span></li>

<p class="isSelectedEnd"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
