Media Preparation Operator

Job Description Summary :
Accurately weigh and measure chemicals, vitamins, plant growth regulators (PGRs), and other media components, dispensing media manually or with machines. Operate autoclaves and sterilization equipment to ensure media and laboratory tools are properly sterilized, prepare planting needs, and maintain culture glassware.
Job Description :

• Accurately weigh and measure chemicals, vitamins, plant growth regulators (PGRs), and other media components following standard formulations.
• Dispense culture media accurately using automated machinery or manual methods.
• Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment to properly sterilize culture media and laboratory tools.
• Prepare materials, tools, and media required for planting/cultivation activities.
• Wash, clean, and prepare culture glassware to support daily laboratory operations.

Job Requirements :

• High School or Vocational High School graduate (SMA / SMK).
• Prior experience in a similar position, laboratory setting, or media preparation environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of basic laboratory operations, cleanliness, hygiene, and chemical safety precautions.
• Good discipline, accuracy in measurement, and strict attention to detail in following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strong willingness to support daily laboratory functions and collaborative operations.
• Placement in Sentul.
