Automotive Lube Technician

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Your next opportunity awaits!</strong> Toyota Santa Monica is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Express Service Technician to join our team. We’re open to candidates who are new to the automotive industry, with <strong>6 months of Express/Lube Technician experience preferred</strong>. Experience with dealerships, AutoZone, Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, or independent automotive shops is a plus.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong><em><br></em></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Express Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our service department.  </span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Preferred: </strong>Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of prior experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician. </span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manufacturer certification is desired, and a degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred.</span></li>
