Head of People & Culture Business Partnering
Vista Group · Auckland, New Zealand
About The Role
At Vista Group, our People & Culture team exists to help our people do their best work by creating an environment where they can grow, perform and belong.
We're looking for a Head of People & Culture Business Partnering to lead our global BP team. This is a key leadership role that sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, leadership and organisational change.
You'll be a trusted advisor to our senior leaders, helping shape how we grow, evolve and support our people as our business continues to transform.
This is not a role for someone who enjoys a highly structured environment where every day looks the same. Priorities shift, new challenges emerge, and you'll need to balance strategic initiatives with real-time business needs across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and develop our global team of P&C Business Partners.
- Partner with senior leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, leadership capability and change initiatives.
- Translate business priorities into practical people solutions that drive impact.
- Coach and support leaders through complex people matters.
- Identify emerging workforce trends, capability needs and future skills requirements.
- Ensure our people practices remain consistent, compliant and fit for purpose across our global locations.
- Contribute to the continued evolution of our People & Culture strategy, including how we embrace AI and new ways of working.
What we're looking for:
- Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role, with strong generalist expertise and a business partnering mindset.
- A track record of influencing senior leaders and building trusted relationships across an organisation
- Experience operating in a complex, fast-paced and geographically dispersed environment
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance people needs with business outcomes
- Excellent coaching, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- A pragmatic approach, sound judgement and the confidence to navigate ambiguity
Most importantly, you'll be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex problems, can juggle competing priorities, and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Why Vista?
We're a global business with people across multiple regions, a strong culture, ambitious plans, and plenty of opportunities to make a meaningful impact. You'll join a collaborative People & Culture team and play a key role in shaping the employee experience and leadership capability that supports our future success.
If you're looking for a role where you can influence at a strategic level, lead a great team, and help shape the future of work at Vista, we'd love to hear from you.
