Job Purpose

• The primary purpose of the Courier position at Skin MD, LLC an affiliated practice of SKIN & AESTHETIC CENTERS is to ensure the daily pick-up and delivery of lab specimens. This role is vital in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of specimen transportation between various locations, contributing to the overall success of laboratory operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Transport lab specimens from one location to another, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
• Maintain reliable transportation and ensure vehicle insurance and valid driver's license are up to date.
• Complete specific compliance-based training to adhere to company and regulatory standards.
• Operate as a 1099 independent contractor, managing personal schedule to meet delivery deadlines. (Flat rate of $160)
• Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate pick-up and delivery times.
• Handle specimens with care to prevent damage or contamination during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all documentation is completed as required.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations related to the transportation of lab specimens.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns

Required Skills and Abilities

• Reliable transportation with valid vehicle insurance
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ability to complete specific compliance-based training
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 independent contractor
