<h3>What you’ll do:</h3>
<p><strong>Build enterprise-grade AI agents</strong>: You'll collaborate closely with clients to architect, build, and deploy robust AI agents capable of operating at scale.</p>
<p><strong>Evolve agent development lifecycle</strong>: Adapt established software engineering practices to address the unique challenges of AI agents, specifically regarding non-deterministic behaviors, natural language integration, and LLM dependencies.</p>
<p><strong>Accelerate generative agent development</strong>: Leverage modern tools like Cursor and Claude Code to speed up agent creation, while exploring the design of harness and self-optimizing systems that improve through real-world usage, user feedback, and self-play loops.</p>
<p><strong>Shape the future of product & platform</strong>: Your team’s direct work with customers will guide the evolution of Backbase’s product & platform. You’ll surface unmet needs, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate with product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development and Backbase’s product & platform.</p>

<h3>What you’ll bring:</h3>

<li>🚀 <strong>Experienced</strong>: Minimum 3 years in building agentic applications.<br><br></li>
<li>🧠 <strong>Technically Strong</strong>: Proficient in <strong>Python</strong>, with hands-on experience in <strong>Agentic AI frameworks</strong>, architectures, design patterns, knowledge-base, AI-search, retrieval-augmented generation, context engineering, evaluation, and guardrailing.<br><br></li>
<li>🧩 <strong>Agentic Thinker</strong>: Well-versed in modern AI agent patterns including <strong>MCP</strong>, <strong>A2A</strong>, <strong>ACP</strong>. You understand how to build modular systems where agents collaborate, reason, and adapt to context dynamically.<br><br></li>
<li>🌟 <strong>Startup Mindset</strong>: You're a self-starter—proactive, resourceful, curious, and comfortable moving fast.<br><br></li>
