About The Role

Heathrow is one of the world's busiest airports, operating in a complex, constantly changing environment where resilience is critical to keeping people, flights, and operations moving safely and efficiently.
As an Operational Resilience Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening Heathrow's ability to anticipate, prepare for and respond to disruption. Working across the airport community, you will help ensure resilience plans, incident management arrangements, and operational responses are effective, aligned, and fit for purpose.
This is an opportunity to make a visible impact on the performance and resilience of a major international airport while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

Develop and maintain robust operational resilience, contingency, and business continuity plans to support airport operations.

Provide oversight and assurance of resilience activities across the business, promoting consistency and best practice.

Plan and deliver resilience exercises, testing programmes, and post-incident reviews, ensuring lessons learned are effectively implemented.

Support operational projects and strategic initiatives by integrating resilience considerations into planning and decision-making.

Play an active role in incident response, including participation in Heathrow's on-call incident response arrangements.

Manage the day-to-day Command & Control function while building strong stakeholder relationships to strengthen resilience and ensure regulatory compliance.

Experience in emergency response, crisis management, business continuity, resilience planning or a related discipline.

Good understanding of operationally complex environments, ideally within aviation, transport, infrastructure or similarly regulated sectors.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

Confidence leading discussions, challenging constructively and driving accountability for resilience outcomes.

Experience delivering projects, exercises or operational improvement initiatives.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
Please note: A CTC is required for this role. To obtain CTC you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years.
