Purchasing Coordinator

Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.
We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.
Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.

We are now looking for a Purchasing Coordinator for one of our customers based in Stavanger.

Main Accountabilities:

Ensure cost efficient procurement supporting the operations in daily needs

Ensure documentation consistent with company requirements in both contract management system as well as ERP system

Ensure alignment with internal and external requirements

Follow up on deliveries
Main Tasks:
-
Expedite requests and issue purchase orders and call-offs and ensure correct use of established contracts
-
Seek market intelligence and maintain knowledge of local and regional market movements and new suppliers
-
Secure competition and issue RFQ’s, evaluate bid proposals and negotiate
-
Ensure timely delivery of goods including expediting
-
Contribute in material master efforts related to improvement of existing data and implementation of new material masters
-
Contribute to continuous improvement of the procurement processes
-
Ensure all work associated with the execution and management is in compliance with internal and external guidelines and established control

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
-
Minimum 10 years relevant experience
-
Experience with SAP
-
Fluent written and spoken English
-
Good communication and corporation skills
-
Systematic and structured with an analytical and proactive mindset
