About The Role
We are a fast-paced Series A startup growing our team of dynamic builders, tech-enthusiasts, and compassionate professionals on a mission to deploy AI-powered robotic solutions that make supply chain operations more human-friendly and efficient.
Ambi Robotics is excited to add a temporary part-time Robot Operator/Technician to the team. We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for operating our AmbiStack system at a critical customer site during a three-month evaluation period.
This individual will:
- Contribute to the installation of the robotic system
- Operate the AI-based industrial robotic system
- Interact with customer representatives on site daily
- Coordinate with remote engineers to debug and improve the system
Installation begins 11/2/2026 and is expected to be completed in one month. Installation will require lifting, assembling, and constructing the gantry palletizing system alongside a team of Ambi employees and contractors. After the installation, the system will be integrated into facility operations.
The contract term and details are as follows:
- 11/2/2026 - 12/1/2026: Participate in installation
- 12/1/2026 - 2/26/2027: Operate the AmbiStack system for an estimated 15-30 hours per week Monday-Friday. Flexible schedule preferred.

In this role you will:
- Participate in assembly/installation of the gantry palletizing system
- Enable and monitor the AmbiStack machine as it palletizes boxes
- Take primary ownership of the site as the customer point-of-contact
- Schedule, track, and perform preventative maintenance
- Report abnormalities to the engineering team
- Build and maintain reactive technical support processes
- Lead and contribute to support team projects
You are a good fit if you have:
- Excitement for robotics and innovative technologies
- Basic technical skills for software, mechanical, and electrical engineering
- Product support engineering experience in electro-mechanical hardware and software systems
- Working knowledge of Google Suite, Asana, Slack, Jira, and hardware and software principles
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and customer communication experience
- A self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and strong follow through
- (BONUS) Experience working in supply chain warehouses
- (BONUS) Experience working with industrial equipment
