Activity Assistant - Woodland Village Nursing Center - Days - PT 20

The Activity Assistant is responsible for conducting and assisting the resident's daily activities. Guides activity programs to encourage socialization, provides entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and improves daily living skills.

• Conducts and assists with scheduled daily activities for residents.
• Follows daily event schedule encouraging residents to attend and participate in appropriate activities.
• Maintains event decorations for activity room.
• Conducts room visits and small group activities.
• Assists in identifying and monitoring the social, recreational and emotional needs and interests of each residents through routine interviews and visits.
• Responsible for overseeing and serving in dining areas during meal times.
