About The Role

The expected salary range for this position is $33.46 - $40.10. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. This experienced specialist conducts the implementation, upgrades, and process maintenance/refinement for the production department's systems prior to, during, and after installation. The specialist further conducts day-to-day maintenance and ensures proper usage of the production print tools and related processes. At this career level, the incumbent generally works independently on moderately complex production administration projects or as a team member on larger projects. He or she may coach other administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
  • Analyzes and identifies improvement opportunities for current systems and processes. Contributes to the identification, development, and implementation of workflow process efficiencies. Ensures system performance continuity through the implementation of best possible solutions for systems/process inefficiencies.
  • Creates and maintains processes and procedures compatible with applicable IT standards and requirements to support system application including but not limited to: user training, systems recommendations, and user access. Further coordinates with IT to meet departmental technology needs to ensure systems are compliant with internal and external service level agreements.
  • Represents the Production department to external production vendors and assists with the implementation, coordination, support, and maintenance of third-party solutions. Collaborates with other system administrators to configure new production systems to integrate with other production systems.
  • Coordinates with the internal Project Implementation Teams to develop a process to identify delays and bottlenecks in production as well as to define and deliver on required reports.
  • Conducts the export of data from the current system and the import of the data into the production system.
  • Serves as primary contact for production systems questions and troubleshooting. Responds to first line user/system issues and interfaces with vendor for second level support when needed.
  • Defines and documents processes for print-finish-post and configures the production system to adhere to those processes.
  • May provide expertise to other professionals and support staff in the digital production discipline.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Experience

  • Three years Relevant experience working in this or a related field.
