About The Role

The SHES & Wellness Administrator will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative services for the Vice President, Safety, Health, Environment, Sustainability and Corporate SHES team members. The SHES & Wellness Administrator will be responsible for managing calendars, scheduling and organizing meetings, assisting in preparation of reports and presentations, coordinating complex travel arrangements, preparing expense reports and coordinating special events and organizing large functions. This individual will handle general office duties including ordering office supplies, creating purchase orders, couriering packages, and other related duties as required.
The SHES & Wellness Administrator will also manage wellness activities for J.D. Irving, Limited Moncton businesses, managing the Monthly Wellness calendar, leading the Wellness Champions across the businesses, managing the fitness on-demand classes, and the administrative relationship with the company’s 3rd party medical clinic.

  • Provide administrative services for the Vice President, SHES & Corporate SHES Team, that include managing calendars and planning and organizing travel.
  • Manage wellness activities for J.D. Irving, Limited Moncton businesses
  • Organize Monthly Wellness Topics
  • Lead meetings for Wellness Champions
  • Manage fitness on-demand classes
  • Lead the wellness area of leadership period and quarterly reports
  • Manage the administrative relationship with the company’s 3rd party medical clinic
  • Schedule and organize meetings and manage details for large functions.
  • Some training and development projects and activities.
  • General office duties that include ordering office supplies, coordinating IT supplies/issues, preparing courier packages, creating and receiving purchase orders.
  • Post secondary, either diploma or university degree in business or related subject.
  • Ideally 3+ years of administrative co-ordination, organizing, and scheduling.
  • Background preferably in a business environment, that is fast paced and dynamic.
  • Excellent time management skills, well organized, good attention to detail.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • High proficiency with MS Office, especially Outlook and Teams.
