Ice Cream Supervisor

Grace Adventures is a religious organization that makes employment decisions on Bible based beliefs and practices. Because of the nature of our Christian program; Christian belief, character, and practice are essential requirements of employment positions.
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Fulfill the ministry of Grace Adventures. This person will assist the Dunes Harbor Family Camp Managers in carrying out the mission of Grace Adventures through the ministry's purpose by upholding the standard of excellence through retail and Ice Cream operations. The result will be to provide a safe, Christian environment where families can be impacted.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead Ice Cream Shop operations
• Assist in the supervision of all summer, seasonal, and volunteer staff as directed by the Dunes Harbor Family Camp Director
• Coordination of inventory, maintaining and ordering supplies at the ice cream shop.
• Supervisors may be assigned to Manager on Duty responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and a state of readiness in the Ice Cream Shop.
• All other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Dunes Harbor Family Camp Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum age: 18
• Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Strong Worldview
• An attitude of excellence in workmanship
• A supportive attitude to the needs of staff, guests, and the goals of the organization
• An ability to direct and supervise the energies of staff and volunteers
• A desire to learn and develop new skills
• Self-disciplined and self-motivated
• Ability to communicate well
• Good health and stamina are required to implement campground programming. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
