About The Role

<p><strong>Employee Experience Specialist</strong></p>
<p>We're looking for an Employee Experience Specialist to own the events, culture, and everyday moments that make Workshop feel like Workshop - from quarterly retreats and team outings to employee recognition programs and the day-to-day vibe of the office. The right person really cares about creating experiences that help employees feel seen and included every day.<br><br></p>
<p>Our mission is to create more Happy Mondays for employees everywhere, and you’ll play an incredibly meaningful and crucial part in delivering on that mission internally. </p>
<p>As the Employee Experience Specialist you will:</p>
<ul>
<li>Look for new and creative ways to keep Workshop a place people are genuinely excited to work</li>
<li>Help improve operational procedures and guidelines that shape employees’ day-to-day experience</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Organize company events, including quarterly retreats,  team building off-sites, monthly office celebrations, and company outings</li>
<li>Make sure remote employees feel just as connected to the team as everyone in the office</li>
<li>Book travel for employee events as needed</li>
<li>Champion a culture that lives up to our values</li>
</ul>
<p>To be successful in this position, you’ll need:</p>
<ul>
<li>Relevant work experience in event planning, office management, HR or a similar field</li>
<li>An optimistic approach to daily work</li>
<li>A passion for making workplaces run well and employees feel taken care of</li>
<li>A good eye for event aesthetics, office vibes, and the logistics behind both</li>
<li>To be willing (and excited!) to collaborate with others in-person <em>and</em> remotely </li>
<li>To love getting to know people and bring social energy to a group </li>
<li>Comfort juggling a dozen things at once</li>
</ul>
<p>Bonus points if you:</p>
<ul>
<li>Have experience planning company events for groups of 50+</li>
<li>Can negotiate with vendors and manage a large budget</li>
<li>Thrive in a fast-paced work environment</li>
</ul>
<h4>Compensation & Benefits:</h4>
<p>Pay: $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience</p>
