About The Role

The Opportunity
We're hiring a Financial Planner to join our Omaha office to lead new client relationships and work directly with firm partners serving the financial planning and investment needs of current clients. The long-term goal for this position is to grow into a senior financial planner with your own client relationships and support staff. You’ll begin by supporting our senior planners as you learn our systems and unique approach to providing financial advice. This encompasses meeting preparation, financial plan development, investment reporting, participating in portfolio design, ongoing client support and communication, and joining client meetings.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare meeting materials, financial plans, and analysis ahead of client conversations, and manage the follow-up once decisions are made
  • Support senior partners in delivering our comprehensive planning process across retirement income, investments, tax strategy, and estate considerations
  • Meet with prospective new clients and manage relationships end-to-end
  • Collaborate with our shared support team to keep client service consistent and timely
  • Work directly with senior partners to continue to improve our internal financial planning, investment advice, and operational processes as the firm continues to grow
  • Stay current on planning strategies, industry-leading technology, financial markets, and tax law changes

What We're Looking For

  • CFP® certification is highly preferred. If you're not yet certified, significant progress toward the designation plus a track record of leading client relationships in a planning-focused environment is required
  • Candidates with CPA, EA, or CFA credentials will receive preference
  • Comfort owning complex, detail-heavy planning tasks including retirement planning, portfolio analysis, tax projections, estate coordination independently
  • Experience with Charles Schwab or Altruist, Orion Advisor Services, Right Capital, Redtail, Holistiplan, Microsoft Office Suite, general AI prompting is preferred
  • A fiduciary mindset and a genuine interest in achieving positive client outcomes
  • Self-starter, ability to take on new challenges and develop solutions that can be shared with other team members, excited about growing with a small team
  • Someone who leads with kindness and works diligently to accomplish good in the world and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others

Compensation and Benefits

  • $80,000-$105,000 base salary, plus a bonus of up to 10% based on experience and qualifications
  • Potential future compensation adjustments based on led client relationships and new client growth

  • Company-paid CFP® certification renewal, continuing education, and additional professional development with approval
