About the Role

Why Join the Right to Buy Team?
The Right to Buy (RTB) team delivers a vital statutory service that helps eligible council tenants achieve home ownership. The team is responsible for managing applications from initial enquiry through to the formal offer stage, ensuring compliance with legislation, protecting the Council's interests and supporting residents through one of the most significant decisions they will make. The service operates within statutory timescales and plays an important role in delivering positive outcomes for Nottingham residents.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and specialist team where your contribution will make a real difference. You'll gain expertise in housing legislation, work closely with colleagues across Housing, Legal Services and Property, and play a key role in shaping and improving the service as it prepares for future legislative changes. The work is varied, rewarding and offers the chance to lead improvements, develop colleagues and influence how the service is delivered.
Why Apply?
-Be part of a specialist statutory service that has a direct impact on residents' lives.
-Develop expertise in housing legislation, service delivery and process improvement.
-Take ownership of projects, improvements and service developments.
-Support and develop colleagues whilst building your own supervisory and leadership experience.
-Join a collaborative team that values innovation, customer service and continuous improvement.
-Play a key role in a service that is evolving in response to significant legislative change.
If you're looking for a role where you can combine leadership, legislation, customer service and service improvement while making a tangible difference to Nottingham residents, we'd love to hear from you.
