Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications through automated and manual testing practices.
Prior experience in Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Private Equity, Credit, Real Estate, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, and Python.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing of web-based applications.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Create and maintain reusable automation scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and identify opportunities for continuous quality improvements.
• Log, track, and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other QA team members to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and communicate testing status, metrics, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications-
Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant QA Automation certifications are a plus.

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Proven hands-on experience with:
• Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Python based Test Automation Frameworks
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and quality engineering best practices.
• Ability to create and execute SQL queries for backend data validation.

• Jenkins (preferred), Source Control Management

Additional Preferred Skills

• BDD frameworks (Behave/PyTest BDD)
• API Automation, Performance testing knowledge
• Cloud platform exposure (Azure preferred)
