About The Role
Job Title:
Customer Service Representative
Summary:
Prime contact for order-related activities, owning an independent portfolio of all customer accounts in one or two segments for their region. Acts as the extended arm of the commercial organization, fully accountable (RACI) for execution from order creation to delivery.
Responsibilities Include:
- Efficiently process order-to-cash from contract management through order confirmation, ad-hoc invoicing and delivery — all order types and customers (EDI, export, web orders);
- Act as front-line business contact for product, service and supply chain inquiries; keep clients proactively informed and act to maximize ability to serve;
- Analyze SAP reports to identify and resolve open issues; interface with Sales, Demand Planning, Logistics, Product Stewardship, Trade Compliance and Quality;
- Receive, enter and manage customer non-conformances/claims, including debit/credit note management;
- Build sustainable customer trust through open, proactive communication.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor's degree/ Diploma with Customer Service Experience;
- Customer focused mindset;
- Fluent English: spelling, syntax, grammar;
- Significant customer relations experience in complex international and ever-changing environments;
- Ability to handle multiple requests and demands on time, prioritize workload depending on needs of customer and business for on-time completion of each request;
- Display strong business acumen enabling to take initiative and ownership of difficult customer situations;
- Inspires top performance in others by example of work ethic and job performance;
- Keen sense of customer relations illustrated by effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
- Attentive to details;
- Ability to maintain composure under stress, a sense of urgency when performing tasks; excellent organizational skills.
The following are preferred for the role:
- Experience in chemical industry ideal.
- Handling of Order Management process in international work environment.
- Master in SAP (SD module).
- University master's degree is an asset.
What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: €34,700 - €50,820
Compensation for this role will be competitive and aligned with market practices in the respective location and, where applicable, with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), including relevant sector agreements (e.g., the Chemical Industry agreement or, for executive roles, the agreement for Executives of Companies Producing Goods and Services in Italy). Actual pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, and geographic location. Where applicable, country-specific salary ranges will be communicated during the hiring process in line with local pay transparency regulations. This role may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation. Any such incentives are governed by the terms of the Company’s applicable plans and are based on company performance and/or individual performance.
