Sports Medicine Specialist UAE

We are seeking a skilled Specialist Sports Medicine Physician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic sports injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Manage conditions involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones.
• Provide non-surgical management of sports injuries and overuse conditions.
• Perform appropriate musculoskeletal procedures and injections where applicable.
• Conduct pre-participation health assessments and fitness evaluations.
• Support athletes in safe return-to-sport and performance recovery.
• Coordinate rehabilitation with physiotherapists, orthopedic specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide guidance on injury prevention, exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation / Orthopaedics with relevant sports medicine training.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Strong experience in sports injuries and musculoskeletal medicine.
• Experience in sports-related procedures and rehabilitation is an advantage.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
