About The Role

  • Manage and oversee the school’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and school policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage the school’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and financial analysis for school leadership.
  • Monitor the school’s budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure effective financial control.
  • Ensure timely collection of tuition fees and other receivables, following up on outstanding balances when required.
  • Review and approve payments, invoices, purchase orders, and supporting financial documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within a school or educational organization.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics.
