<p><strong>This position reports to the: National Planning and Procurement Manager</strong></p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Financial reporting:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li> Prepare DC monthly income statement</li>
<li> Prepare DC month end journals to ensure all cost allocated accurately</li>
<li> Prepare cost variance analysis</li>
<li> Process all DC invoices for payment and maintain a real time overview of expenses versus budget</li>
<li> Prepare annual DC budget process and long-term planning</li>
<li> Maintain the purchase order tracking tool to control all expenses to align with approved budget</li>
<li> Prepare and present reports/dashboards on trends, issues and solutions</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Planning: Workforce Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare weekly timesheet for HOD approvals and invoicing for Temporary employment services providers</li>
<li>Maintain the permanent employee schedule and accurately record overtime for payment.</li>
<li>Manage and maintain the relationship with Temporary Employment Services providers.</li>
<li>Hold regular meetings to align and engage all departmental managers to the approved Plan</li>
<li>Maintain and update SOPs to align with current business practice</li>
<li>Propose cost reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity</li>
<li>Manage and escalate weekly/monthly exceptions against planned outputs and timelines</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Procurement:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design and manage internal and external processes, standards and SLAs</li>
<li>Procure all consumables in line with the agreed plans and schedules, place orders and process all documentation</li>
<li>Procure packaging materials in line DC with requirements</li>
<li>Manage the relationship with current suppliers and co-ordinate the purchase order processing and delivery of goods and services.</li>
<li>Participate in RFP and RFQ for DC resource and service requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Team Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage a team of admin clerks to ensure DC finance and procurement processes run efficiently</li>
<li>Manage the finance and procurement process for 2 DC’s in CPT</li>
<li>Provide data driven insights and recommendations to improve workforce efficiency and quality</li>
<li>Develop continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity and customer services.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualification & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>B.Comm or Btech Accounting/Cost Accounting</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years relevant experience</li>
<li>People management experience</li>
<li>Previous experience with WMS systems such as Oracle, SAP, Logfire or similar</li>
<li>High level of proficiency with MS Office packages</li>
<li>Previous experience in mini project management advantageous</li>
<li>Comfortable with change and excellent team player</li>
<li>Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems</li>
</ul>
