<p><strong>This position will report to the Lead Software Engineer (LMS)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Role overview</strong></p>
<p>You will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our Last Mile Solution team (LMS), ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients and improves operational efficiency.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain our state-of-the-art Last Mile Solution, enhancing its functionality and performance.</li>
<li>Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, operations, and IT to gather requirements and deliver solutions.</li>
<li>Integrate the LMS with other business systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.</li>
<li>Analyse complex system requirements and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.</li>
<li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, implementation, and testing processes.</li>
<li>Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, and conduct thorough unit and integration testing to ensure high improvement skills and contribute to the team's growth.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field</li>
<li>3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development using C#, with a focus on warehouse management or logistics systems being preferable</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and ORM Frameworks</li>
<li>Experience using ASP.NET Core MVC and React web frameworks</li>
<li>Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript)</li>
<li>Experience with mobile development</li>
<li>Understanding of RESTful API design and integration</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Requirements: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in C#, SQL, .NET Core, MVC, RESTful API, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, SASS, CSS, and GIT</li>
<li>Understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.</li>
<li>Familiarity and experience with containerisation technologies</li>
<li>Database development</li>
<li>API integration</li>
<li>Mobile development</li>
<li>Version Control</li>
<li>Code review</li>
<li>Trouble shooting</li>
</ul>
