About The Role
As a Procurement Intern, you will support the Procurement team in strengthening purchasing processes, improving operational efficiency, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. The project will provide hands-on experience in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, sourcing activities, data analysis, and Procurement performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and support the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and understand the different stages of the Procurement cycle.
- Develop proficiency in QAD and other Procurement tools and systems used for daily activities.
- Support the RFQ (Request for Quotation) and sourcing process, including quotation analysis and supplier information management.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable (AP) and other internal departments to support a smooth purchasing process.
- Analyze spending and purchasing data to identify potential cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
- Support the Procurement team in reducing administrative workload through process improvements and data organization.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and reporting of Procurement KPIs.
- Prepare basic reports and analysis to support decision-making within the Procurement team.
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Solution-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.
- Commercial/business-oriented knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of Purchasing and Logistics is preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with QAD and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
