<h2>Position Summary</h2>
<p>Shields Health Solutions is seeking a highly analytical and execution-oriented <strong>Manager, Strategic Operations - Health System Experience (HSE)</strong> to drive high-impact strategic initiatives across our health system portfolio.</p>
<p>This role is ideal for candidates with experience in <strong>management consulting, healthcare consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, strategic operations, or business transformation</strong>, particularly within healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or health systems.</p>
<p>Reporting to Strategic Operations leadership and partnering closely with the <strong>Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Health System Experience and the broader HSE leadership team</strong>, this individual will help shape strategic priorities, lead cross-functional projects, support account growth initiatives, and deliver actionable insights that improve performance across the business.</p>
<p>This is a highly visible role requiring a strong blend of <strong>strategic planning, analytics, project management, change management, and executive communication</strong>. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and capable of translating complex business challenges into actionable solutions. We are seeking someone who can use data to drive decision-making, build structure where needed, and lead initiatives from concept through execution.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Partner with the Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Health System Experience and HSE leadership to support strategic planning, business priorities, and portfolio-wide initiatives.</li>
<li>Help define, measure, and accelerate key success metrics, goals, and objectives across health system accounts.</li>
<li>Use data and analytics to identify opportunities, measure performance, evaluate trends, and support leadership decision-making.</li>
<li>Develop executive presentations, business cases, dashboards, reporting tools, and strategic recommendations for senior leaders and client stakeholders.</li>
<li>Lead complex cross-functional projects from initial scoping through implementation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.</li>
<li>Support account planning, renewal readiness, growth opportunities, and operational initiatives across the health system portfolio.</li>
<li>Create scalable processes, tools, frameworks, and operating models that improve efficiency, consistency, and visibility across the organization.</li>
<li>Partner closely with Strategic Operations, Health System Experience, Business Development, Go-To-Market, Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.</li>
<li>Facilitate the sharing of customer insights, market intelligence, competitive trends, and best practices across teams.</li>
<li>Support implementation and change management efforts that help the organization achieve strategic goals.</li>
<li>Take ownership of ambiguous business challenges, proactively identify solutions, and drive initiatives through completion.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<h3>Required Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree required.</li>
<li>4-6+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
<ul>
<li>Management Consulting</li>
<li>Healthcare Consulting</li>
<li>Investment Banking</li>
<li>Private Equity</li>
<li>Strategic Operations</li>
<li>Corporate Strategy</li>
<li>Business Transformation</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.</li>
<li>Proven project management experience leading initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions.</li>
<li>Experience developing executive-level presentations, strategic recommendations, and business cases.</li>
<li>Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, written communication, and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive initiatives from concept through execution.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience within healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, providers, payers, or health systems.</li>
<li>Exposure to commercial strategy, growth strategy, operational transformation, or implementation efforts.</li>
<li>Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, or private equity-backed environment.</li>
</ul>
