<p><strong>Location:</strong> Jeffersonville, IN (Remote to start, then On-site)</p>

We are partnering with a leading global automotive manufacturer to staff a brand-new battery pack assembly plant in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This is a rare chance to help build a greenfield operation from the ground up.</p>
<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>As Quality Team Manager, you will lead the Quality organization for a new Battery Pack Assembly facility from launch through steady-state production. You will establish and champion the plant’s Quality Operating System (QOS) and serve as a key member of the Plant Operating Committee, driving quality strategy, standards, and performance.</p>
<p>You will oversee incoming and supplier quality, lead quality activities for new model launches, and build a strong quality culture through the mentoring and development of plant personnel. Success in this role requires close partnership with plant leadership, cross-functional teams, Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L), and suppliers to drive customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.</p>
<p>The role will start remotely, with the expectation that the candidate will later transition to onsite work in Jeffersonville, Indiana. During construction, you may attend onsite meetings or work from a temporary onsite office.</p>
<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>
<p><em>Quality Operating System & Plant Leadership</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Champion the QOS as a member of the Plant Operating Committee, keeping the Operations Committee Manager informed on quality status</li>
<li>Develop, mentor and train plant personnel on QOS principles and standard quality tools</li>
<li>Lead quality goal-setting and policy deployment for the plant</li>
<li>Run the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly quality review cadence</li>
<li>Fully deploy QOS procedures at the new site and keep them stable through launch and change</li>
<li>Manage direct and indirect staffing in the Quality department</li>
<li>Build communication processes that support cross-functional problem-solving teams and sister plants</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Inspection, Compliance & Measurement</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage inspection processes, and keep measurement systems and mandatory process requirements current based on customer and warranty feedback</li>
<li>Make sure regulatory, safety and inspection audits and critical-function reviews are completed and reported, to prevent field actions and recalls</li>
<li>Own recall-prevention results and make sure containment actions are in place for identified issues</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Incoming & Supplier Quality</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead incoming quality activity and the supplier quality tracking system</li>
<li>Support problem-solving teams on supplier quality concerns</li>
<li>Escalate known supplier issues to future-program planners to prevent repeat customer concerns</li>
<li>Monitor supplier part quality and share real-time feedback with production</li>
<li>Coordinate supplier quality requirements for on-site modifications and production concerns</li>
<li>Co-chair monthly incoming quality meetings</li>
<li>Contain suspect components until certified stock arrives</li>
<li>Work with materials and logistics on defective material, and lead containment and corrective actions with suppliers</li>
<li>Review supplier 8D reports and accept or reject them based on content</li>
<li>Publish incoming quality data, and share dealer and customer feedback on supplier quality with the right teams</li>
<li>Manage recovery of plant costs caused by supplier quality issues</li>
</ul>
<p><em>New Model Launch</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the plant's quality lead for new model launches, including milestone and scorecard reviews and control plan activities</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree</li>
<li>5+ years in an automotive industry quality function</li>
<li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Flexibility to work standard, operating and rotational schedules, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.</span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Master's degree</li>
<li>Quality engineering background</li>
<li>Six Sigma Black Belt certification</li>
<li>Working knowledge of automotive quality data, warranty and audit systems</li>
<li>Strong statistical background and knowledge of production and quality operating systems</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead, empower and develop people</li>
<li>Strong conflict management, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills</li>
<li>A collaborative style that delivers results through others</li>
<li>Outstanding interpersonal, team-building and communication skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p>
<p>The salary range for this position is $115,500 – $218,100. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package. <strong>Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.</strong></p>
