This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day processing of vendor bills, credit card transactions, and employee expense reports, reporting to the Director of Accounting.</span></p>

<p class="s8"><strong><span class="s7">Key Accountabilities<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></strong></p>

<li><span class="s7">Invoice Processing: </span>Accurately code and process vendor bills, credit card transactions, and employee expense reports in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Vendor Communication:<span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Respond to vendor queries about invoice status, discrepancies, and payments, escalating anything unresolved to the Director of Accounting. </span></li>
<li>Vendor Data:<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="s5">Maintain the AP master file data ensuring timely updates of address and bank data.</span></li>
<li>Payment Support:<span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Help prepare weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate. </span></li>
<li>Compliance:<span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Follow AP policies and procedures consistently; flag anything that looks like a compliance or control issue. </span></li>
<li>Process Awareness:<span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Note recurring issues or inefficiencies in day-to-day processing and suggest them to the Director of Accounting as opportunities for improvement. </span></li>
<li>Cross-Functional Collaboration<span class="s5">: Work closely with treasury, finance, and other relevant departments to streamline AP processes, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate financial information sharing.</span></li>

<li><span class="s5">The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in accounts payable</span></li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or business</li>
<li>Proficiency in NetSuite<span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>(AP function)</span><span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span><span class="s5">strongly preferred</span></li>
<li>Strong<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="s5">MS Excel skills</span></li>
<li>Strong<span class="s5"><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>knowledge of VAT rules </span></li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, highly organised with an exceptional attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, and management.</li>
<li>Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges</li>
