About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team. You’ll play a hands-on role supporting business intelligence, e-commerce analytics, customer insights, and performance reporting, while gaining meaningful, real-world experience with a fast-growing luxury jewelry brand. This is a paid internship, with compensation ranging from $18 to $28 per hour, depending on experience and availability.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze sales, e-commerce, marketing, customer, and product data to identify trends and opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and recurring performance trackers for key business metrics
- Analyze website traffic, conversion rates, customer behavior, and purchasing trends
- Track product performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer engagement
- Work with marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, operations, and client experience teams to answer business questions using data
- Conduct customer and product analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular performance reports for internal teams
- Assist with data cleaning, organization, validation, and quality checks across multiple data sources
- Research market, competitive, and industry trends across luxury jewelry, e-commerce, and lab-grown diamonds
- Support sales forecasting, inventory analysis, marketing performance analysis, and other business intelligence projects
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as the business continues to grow
Requirements
- A student or recent graduate in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and analyzing large or complex datasets
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar analytics tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in remote, cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, organized, curious, and eager to learn
- Passion for luxury, jewelry, e-commerce, fashion, consumer products, or emerging retail trends
